Saturday and Sunday 7th and 8th October 2017 at 10.00am
Held under UKA Rules. UKA Licence applied for.
The race returns for a sixth time in 2017 with the introduction of a new 5k. This sell-out race continues to attract rave reviews for its scenery, course and organisation. The 2016 Half Marathon race once again sold out in record time and for 2017 we have, once again, secured two dates for the race.
In 2017 we are pleased to announce a new 5k option for supporters and those not quite up to the full half marathon distance.
The Tissington Trail, the site of a former railway line from Ashbourne to Buxton, runs along a 13 mile route from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne in Derbyshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside the traffic-free trail is ideal for a cracking 5k. The route will cover an out and back route with the first half slightly uphill but the second half will all be downhill allowing for a fast finish.
The race will start at the half marathon finish and head out for 2.5k before returning to Ashbourne.

- I declare I am an amateur as defined by UK Athletics Laws and will abide by the laws and rules of UK Athletics. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in this race. I declare that I will not compete unless I am in good health on the day of the race and that in any event I will compete at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event.
